If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll work with you to reschedule or move to an alternative location. We always want your experience — and your photographs — to be the best possible.
We recommend soft, neutral tones and comfortable clothing that allows everyone to feel relaxed. Avoid strong logos or bold patterns. Coordinating rather than matching outfits works beautifully and keeps the images timeless.
The ideal time for a newborn photo session is within the first 7–14 days after birth. During this stage, babies are generally sleepier, more settled, and comfortable being gently posed, which allows us to capture those beautifully calm, timeless images.
That said, if your baby is a little older, please don’t worry — we can still create lovely, natural photographs at any stage. Sessions are always led by your baby’s needs, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and breaks to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We have some beautiful natural locations that we know work really well depending on the time of year, or if you have a special location near you, we are happy to explore new places! We’ll help you choose the best option to suit your family and the look you love.
That’s completely normal — and absolutely fine. We work at your child’s pace and never rush or force smiles. Our sessions are designed to feel calm and playful, allowing children to relax and be themselves.
Yes, of course. Extended family members are very welcome to join your session. Please let us know in advance so we can allow enough time and plan the shoot accordingly.
After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourite images from the comfort of your home. A range of prints and products will be available to order online.
Your gallery will be ready within a few weeks of your session. We have additional options for prints and products which are professionally produced and delivered straight to you.
