How many pictures will we receive?
This depends on how much time we have on the day, but we aim to give a variety of images to choose from in a few locations. We tend to end up with between 10 - 30 images per child.
What style of nursery photography do you offer?
Our nursery photography is natural, relaxed and child-led. We focus on capturing genuine expressions and happy moments, avoiding stiff poses or forced smiles. The aim is to create beautiful, timeless images that parents will love.
How do photo days work in a nursery setting?
Photo days are carefully planned to fit around your nursery routine. We set up a simple, calm studio space using clean, neutral backdrops or use outdoor settings in the summer and photograph children one at a time, keeping sessions short and relaxed.
Will photography disrupt the nursery day?
Not at all. Our process is designed to be smooth and efficient, with minimal disruption. We work closely with staff to ensure children feel comfortable and the day runs seamlessly alongside normal nursery activities.
What if a child is shy or unsettled?
This is completely normal. We always work at the child’s pace, never rushing or forcing them. If a child needs extra time, a cuddle, or a break, we adapt accordingly to ensure a positive experience. If they really don't want to have their photo taken we will never force them and will just try again another year.
How is child safety and privacy handled?
We use a secure barcode system so only parents can view and order their child’s photos. All photographers are fully insured, DBS checked, and experienced in working within nursery environments.
How do parents view and order the photos?
Parents receive a unique barcode allowing them to access a private online gallery at home. Ordering is simple and secure, with a range of print and digital options available.
Is there any administration required from the nursery?
Very little. Our online system handles proofs, ordering and payments. We only ask that the nursery send out an email to parents to let them know when the shoot day will be, and then afterwards to hand out the individual barcodes to parents.
Can siblings be photographed together?
Yes, siblings who attend the same nursery can be photographed together.
How long does it take to receive photos?
We aim to get all photos online a day or so after the shoot day. Once ordered, finished products are professionally printed and delivered either to the nursery or directly to families. There is normally a 2-3 week wait after the shoot day for print orders as we wait for everyone to put their orders in before the deadline. This enables all parents to receive a 10% discount and no postage costs.
